’80s Nights and ‘Ghostbusters!’

It's an '80s night weekend this weekend on WFGR!

All night long Friday and Saturday, we are gonna play the heck out of the '80s! All your fave '80s flashback jams til the break of dawn!

And speaking of the '80s, Saturday is the 30th anniversary of the release of "Ghostbusters!"

The original and still best in the franchise hit theaters on June 7, 1984. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson led the cast.

I remember working at Putt-Putt in Portage we had a back pack blower to clean debris off the golf course, and it looked just like the Ghostbusters' slime-sucking packs they wore! We thought we were cool. Little did we know.
