That's exactly what happened on the September 16th episode of "Jeopardy" . As a tribute to Prince, the game show used Prince and his song titles as titles to the categories.

Alex Trubek read the categories, from left to right, 1999, Little Red Corvette, Sign o' the Times, Bat Dance, "U" Got the Look, and My Name Is Prince.

Answers in the "My Name is Prince" category were the only category actually containing trivia pertaining to Prince. Here are those answers.

  • $200: During a downpour in Florida in 2007, Prince closed the Superbowl Halftime Show with this aptly titled tune.
  • $400: Of this title object Prince sang, “And if it was warm, she wouldn’t wear much more.”

  • $1000: Prince converted to this religion in 2001, and went door to door to discus his faith surprising many a homeowner.

Jeopardy even Tweeted about it saying "We miss @Prince so much, we created an entire gameboard in his honor. Wear purple today and nail these clues on J!" Here is the actual Tweet: #Jeopardy!.
