Reserve Wine and Food recently announced that the restaurant's last day in business will be May 2, 2024. It will reopen later this year as a brand new dining destination downtown Grand Rapids.

A post to social media called the news "bittersweet" and continued:

The renovation of the Lyon Square project has offered us the opportunity to rethink our space and our vision to bring you an entirely new concept at the end of this year.

The renovation of Lyon Square includes a covered river overlook, accessibility improvements, added greenspace, seating, snowmelt systems, space for weddings and other events.

Reserve owners say they plan to continue pushing the boundaries of what a restaurant can be.

Redevelopment and construction of the restaurant will happen this summer and in the coming months they'll share what the new concept will be.

To celebrate Reserve's time in Grand Rapids and thank patrons, the restaurant is featuring special menus through May 2.

Those who have dined at Reserve are also invited to walk down memory lane with the restaurant. You can post your Reserve date night, rehearsal dinner, birthday celebration, etc. on social media using #celebratereserve. Their team will then re-post these special memories on their social pages.
