What started as a lark has now turned into serious business, at least for my bookie, who doesn't like paying out.

Okay, I don't have a bookie, I made that up, but it sounds cool, doesn't it? On with the games.

Brigham Young at Michigan -- noon, Saturday

If Jim Harbaugh was looking to notch a quality win, this would be the time to do it. It's been such a topsy turvy season in college football, that Michigan could propel themselves into the top 25 with a win here. The Wolverines are a five point favorite, but will they cover? Nope. Michigan's offense is still too anemic to help their stingy defense. BYU 27, Michigan 24

Central Michigan at Michigan State -- noon, Saturday

The Chippewas have upset the Spartan in East Lansing several times. This won't be one of them. While the Chips will contend in a competitive MAC West Division, Sparty is too deep and too fast for Central handle. MSU 42, CMU 16

Western Michigan at Ohio State -- 3:30, Saturday

The top ranked Buckeyes were taken to the final gun by MAC title contender Northern Illinois last week, but the Broncos don't have the defensive muscle to hang with OSU. Plus, you know Urban Meyer kicked their ass this week in practice. This will be one pissed off Buckeye team coming into the horseshoe Saturday. Still, the Broncos are a good football team with a potent offense. The Buckeyes will pull away, but not until the final quarter, and not enough to be the 29 point spread. Ohio State 37, Western 17

Grand Valley State at Lake Erie -- 1:00pm, Saturday

Granted, I don't know much about the Lake Erie College Storm, but I do know Grand Valley's gonna be mad after losing at home to arch rival Ferris last week. It's never easy to win on the road in the GLIAC. Until now. GVSU 44, Lake Erie 22.

Saginaw Valley State at Ferris State -- 2:00pm Saturday

Do they still do 'Mock Rock' the week of Homecoming at Ferris? I remember hosting that back in 1993. It was a crazy couple of hours. Ferris kicked Grand Valley's butt pretty hard last week, and there's a slight chance they're feeling a bit cocky for a 0-3 SVSU team. But Tony Annese won't let that happen. Ferris 57, SVSU 18

Albion at Hope -- 5:00pm Saturday

The Dutchmen open up their league schedule against a Briton team that was picked to win the title. I have no doubt Hope will be a good team by the end of the year, they're just not ready for the Britons jelly just yet. Albion 30, Hope 14

Jojo's 2015 record:

Last week 6-0 against the spread where applicable, for the season 14-3.
