Movie fans who stick around for the end credits of the new 'Entourage' film (which opens Friday) will be treated to a new song from Tom Petty.

The film features the track 'Somewhere Under Heaven,' which will appear on Tom’s forthcoming new album 'Wildflowers – All the Rest.' So far there’s no word on when the album will be dropping.

According to Petty’s website, the song was written and recorded back in 1992, but was basically forgotten about. He describes it as “a lost gem” from what turned out to be the writing sessions for his 1994 album, “Wildflowers.”

In Other Tom Petty news...

Petty is looking to release another album with his pre-fame band Mudcrutch. In 2008 they finally got around to releasing their debut album, and now guitarist Mike Campbell says Tom's ready for more. "Tom [Petty] wants to make another on," he told Rolling Stone. "It probably won't take very long. It's a labor of love, really."
