I've been a fan of Peter Gabriel's since I first saw him in concert on his first solo tour after departing Genesis.

Well, Gabriel got his old band back together, and they're featured in a beautifully shot concert film titled "Back to Front" that hits West Michigan on April 24.

"Back to Front" is a high-def journey into the career of one of rock's master showmen. Filmed at London's O2 Arena on Oct. 23, 2013, the show features Gabriel reuniting with the band that recorded the hit album "So" with Gabriel in 1986.

The concert includes hits like “Solsbury Hill,” “Digging in the Dirt,” “Sledgehammer,” “Mercy Street” and “Don’t Give Up.” Gabriel continues to be at the vanguard of the audio-visual experience by using the latest technology and a 5.1 surround sound mix to deliver a one-of-a-kind cinema eve

Hamish Hamilton, known for directing concert films for such musical icons as U2, The Rolling Stones and Madonna, has put together a visually stunning concert experience that will debut April 23.

Locally, you can see the film at Celebration Cinema North IMAX in Grand Rapids and the Holland 7 Theaters in Holland.

You can purchase advance tickets in advance at the "Back to Front" web site.

Here's a look what you can experience that night, as Peter leads the band through a wonderful take on his classic "In Your Eyes."

And here's the trailer to the film, which also features a duet with the reclusive British singer Kate Bush.
