While Super Bowl XLIX is all about the Big Game on Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., it is also about what goes on off the field. That is because during football's biggest week and weekend comes plenty of celebrating before the spectacle.

On Tuesday, we posted the story about an unsanctioned sexy bikini shoot going on at a Army National Guard facility in Utah. And today, we have this: Apparently the Arizona National Guard wanted in on the negative publicity as well.

The next big X games or Olympic sport? Extreme Ironing. I wish I was kidding, but it's true. Ranking right up there with Championship Lawn Mowing (which WAS an actual event on ESPN back it's early days--look it up) More than one person has photographed or filmed themselves ironing in extreme places. Hence the name Extreme Ironing.
