One of Grand Rapids' iconic locations just received a little face lift. It's the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre.

Did you know that there are two Civic Theatres in West Michigan that are reportedly haunted?

Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, always known for topnotch, first class local theatre productions has just announced the lineup for its upcoming 2023-2024 season

This is the only remaining old movie house in downtown Grand Rapid, but now it's a legit theater.

The Grand Rapids Civic Theatre is back for their historic 97th season and has announced their 2022/23 season show lineup.

Grand Rapids Civic Theatre welcomed 10 service dogs in training along with their handlers from Paws With a Cause.

It’s the big Camper, Travel and RV Show this weekend. There are also some cool concerts and “A Streetcar Named Desire”. We have comedy, another Snowshoe Hike, a Juice Ball, Hockey, and Drywall Repair!

The Santa Parade happens on Saturday in downtown Grand Rapids. Other events this weekend include another Grand Rapids Ball Drop Ticket Stop, and the Grand Rapids International Wine, Beer & Food Festival. There is also hockey, basketball, WWE wrestling. A couple of stage productions... Elf, the Musical and The Lion King. There is even a walk through the Christmas lights at Fifth Third Ballpark

The Grand Rapids Griffins play in Grand Rapids this weekend. We also have magic, comedy, music, and Frozen Jr.. There’s the smashing of a 600 pound pumpkin, Corgis in the Park and National Drug Take Back Day. There is also an Ethnic Heritage Festival. Plenty for all this weekend.

There are several fundraising events going on this weekend...from rappelling down the side of a building to walks and block parties. You can go back in time to the 80s or 90s, We have comedy, theater, Red Panda Day, the Symphony and a festival for Vegetarianism.

The U.S. Coast Guard Festival continues in Grand Haven. Around Grand Rapids we have Hidden Gardens, a Back to School Bash, the Picnic Pops, Harry Potter Movie Night, Comedy, a Superhero themed 5K Run, Dinosaurs, a Musical with Elvis songs, and Free Pinball.

We have chocolate, we have food, new homes, remodeled homes, comedy, free bike helmets, summer reading, a dog park grand opening and free pinball! Wow, something for everyone this weekend.
