Bay City was referenced in the category "Bays and Gulfs" during the June 7, 2016 show. The thing is, this isn't the first time that it has happened, and last time, 16 years ago, the clue was almost exactly the same.
What would a SNL 40th Anniversary Special be without Celebrity Jeopardy, one of the most popular recurring sketches of the modern SNL era. Alex Trebek was back and he brought with him some of his most frustrating contestants including Sir Sean Connery, Justin Bieber, Tony Bennett, Matthew McConaughey, Christoph Waltz, and, of course, Turd Ferguson.
Jeopardy has been around since the 1960's. Art Fleming was the original host and a non descript announcer named Don Pardo "introduced today's contestants" Alex Trebek has been host since 1984.

Longtime 'Jeopardy' host Alex Trebek has a way with words ... or, at least, as Conan O'Brien imagines it, he has a way with saying his words. Trebek's consistent cadence makes it incredibly easy for Conan to splice together the game-show host's clues into a parody video of absolute gibberish, accompanied by a pack of slack-jawed contestants. Funny, right?
