Tim Tebow Reads ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ (Video)

When I was a kid, I was obsessed with Pizza Hut's BOOK IT! program. Not only did I get to read to my heart's content, I also got rewarded for it?! What?! Yep, I was a bit of a nerd. I earned so many personal pans, I think my parents had to tell me to stop reading, as I was bordering on fat little kid territory. Well, turns out Tim Tebow is also a supporter of BOOK IT!  He appears in a video for the program reading Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham. Check out it out after the jump.

In an interview with BOOK IT!, Tebow talks about why he picked Green Eggs And Ham: "Pretty much how I learned to read was with Green Eggs And Ham. There were a few others that I loved, but Green Eggs And Ham was definitely my favorite."

Tebow also talks about his struggles with reading as a child, "I was diagnosed with dyslexia when I was a little boy and so finding ways to overcome that and finding ways to really enjoy reading and finding ways that I can process things -- because it has nothing to do with your intelligence, it just has to do with how you process things -- for me books like Green Eggs And Ham really helped me to overcome those obstacles."
