We here in West Michigan were not on our own on Tuesday when it came to the freezing temps and snow. Every single state in the country had a reporting station somewhere in the state below freezing on Tuesday morning.

That even includes Hawaii, where the temperature at Mauna Kea on the Big Island dropped was only 31 degrees.

Down in Florida, it was in the upper 20s in the Panhandle.

Tuesday was the coldest November morning since 1976. The average overnight low for the Lower 48 states was only 19.4 degrees.

Meanwhile, in Buffalo, they make the snow that we got look like a dusting. Snow totals could approach 70 inches south of Buffalo.

Over half the country (50.2%) had snow on the ground Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
