The woman who posted on Facebook about the overworked waiter at restaurant in Iowa has been found, and tells her tale in an interview.

On Tuesday, I shared with you about the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, couple that chose to be positive in a less than positive situation: an overcrowded restaurant with horrific service.

They could have been jerks about their predicament, in fact, many would say they had a right to, instead they did something noble, and for that, they are my Citizens of the Day.

Makenzie Schultz
and her husband, Steven, went out to eat to celebrate their sixth anniversary at a restaurant that was very undermanned. There was one waiter tasked with handling all the tables and he was overwhelmed.

Instead of the Schultzes getting upset with the service, they decided to reward the server, who they could see was hustling. Recognizing that they once waited tables and how thankless it can be, they dug deep into their pockets and left him a $100 tip along with a note of encouragement. That went viral on Facebook, which you can see below.
