What's there for folks attending the Summer Craft Beer Festival today from 2 to 7 p.m. at John Ball Park in Grand Rapids?

That means people like me.

I don't drink beer. These days if it doesn't have "diet" in front of it, it's not going in me. Except water.

Either way, don't think you can't enjoy the fourth annual Summer Craft Beer Festival, even if you don't like beer.

For starters, you can be your friends or loved ones designated driver! For $10, you can get in to the fest, and enjoy watching your loved ones enjoying the hops and the brew! You will be providing a valuable service and someone should buy you a soda or water and, perhaps, some really good food!

Speaking of food, there's going to be plenty of it at the festival! Mexican, American, grilled, sweet, savory, you name it, it's on the menu! And lots of music on the stage! And there's an after party at The Intersection, 133 Grandville Ave. SW in Grand Rapids, with Here Come The Mummies!

Plus, the weather is perfect! Sunny and about 80. You can't beat that for a Michigan weekend! So, come out, sit in the sunshine, enjoy great music and food, have a soda and be a nice person!
