Are you someone who loves Halloween? Well, with the scary holiday fast approaching, you’ll likely want the best Halloween experience you can possibly get, and Expedia’s new list just may help you find it.

The travel site has come out with their list of the 10 Best Cities for Halloween, based on reviews, as well as recommendations posted on Instagram using the hashtag #haunted thrills. They are:

Orlando, FloridaUniversal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights features mutants and zombies terrorizing the park, as well haunted houses like The Purge and Asylum in Wonderland.

(Full disclosure -- I've done this, and I find it hard to believe that there's a haunted experience out there that could scare you more. I'm not saying there's not better out there, I'm just saying this is the best I've ever been to.)

Las Vegas, Nevada – Sin City is full of Halloween nightclub parties, including the Heaven and Hell party at Moon and The View and Forbidden City at MGM Grand’s Hakkasan, featuring performers like Calvin Harris and Tiesto.

New York City – Greenwich Village is the place to be for the annual Village Halloween Parade.

Los Angeles (Long Beach), California – Scary options include the haunted Queen Mary, Universal Studios' Hollywood Horror Nights, Knott’s Scary Farm, and the West Hollywood Carnaval.

Estes Park, Colorado – Could there be anything scarier on Halloween than staying at the Stanley Hotel, the setting for Stephen King’s “The Shining?”

Salem, Massachusetts – Halloween fans will definitely want to check out the Festival of the Dead, which includes ghost hunts, a séance, as well as the Salem Witches’ Halloween Ball, Dance of the Tarot, at the Hawthorne Hotel. (I've also been here for Halloween, and it's okay. I expected more from the home of witchery, I guess. Meh.)

Manitou Springs, Colorado – Known for their Emma Crawford Festival, which includes the Emma Crawford Coffin Races and Parade in honor of the 19th-century woman, who legend says still haunts the area.

Chicago, Illinois – Halloween on Halsted sees streets packed with all sorts of revelers, and this year even has a a Twisted Circus-themed costume contest. (Halsted is scary ALL YEAR!!)

Louisville, KentuckyThe Louisville Zoo hosts their annual Zoo Halloween Party, which allows kids to trick or treat though the park, and also enjoy dancing, train rides and even visiting the animals after dark.

Atlanta, GeorgiaThe 15th annual Little Five Points Halloween Festival and Parade takes place Saturday, transforming Findley Plaza into the ultimate fall festival with music, food and more.
