Former Michigan and Michigan State Stars to Face Grand Rapids Drive at Home Opener

The Grand Rapids Drive's regular season home opener is on November 26 and the visiting team will feature a couple of familiar faces.

The Drive will take on the LA D-Fenders on opening night at DeltaPlex Arena at 7:00pm on November 26.

The LA D-Fenders feature former University of Michigan player Manny Harris and former Michigan State star Keith Appling.

Harris played at Michigan from 2007 - 2010. Appling was at Michigan State from 2010 - 2014. Both were undrafted.

Appling is just beginning his professional career and did not play the the D-Fenders last game. Manny Harris has NBA experience and had a huge game for the D-Fenders on November 19 with 43 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists.
