The Beatles’ 'Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' was voted the best album of all time by Rolling Stone, won the Grammy for Album of the Year, and is seemingly beloved by everyone. Everyone, that is, aside from Keith Richards.

In an interview with Esquire, the Rolling Stones guitarist called the iconic work a “load of sh-t.” “Some people think it's a genius album,” he said. “But I think it's a mishmash of rubbish.”

The jabs at the Fab Four didn't stop there. Richards also threw shots at their short-lived career. “Chicks wore those guys out,” he explained. “They stopped touring in 1966 — they were done already.” Ouch!

Keith says things sometimes that you can't understand, so maybe the writer just misunderstood him like these kids did in the Paul and Storm classic, 'Old Keith Richards'.
