A man really represented the phrase "better late than never"  last week when he married his girlfriend... who had already passed away.  Thai man, Chadil Deffy,  held a combination funeral and wedding for his longtime girlfriend, Sarinya "Anne" Kamsook, who died unexpectedly before they could marry.

The Week  reports that the couple had been together for 10 years. Deffy, a TV director, wanted to get his professional life in order prior to walking down the aisle. However, an accident on January 3rd, took Anne's life before that could happen.

Wanting to honor his promise, Deffy arranged the wedding/ funeral ceremony for friends and family.  He wore a tuxedo and a top hat, while his bride, laid out on wooden platform, wore a short white dress, fishnet stockings and a veil. Deffy did put a a  wedding ring on his deceased bride's finger and also  kissed her hand and her forehead. A film crew was present to capture the event and afterwards, Duffy posted photos to facebook.

So what do you think about this? Creepy? Romantic? Somehow both creepy and romantic?
