President Biden Allegedly Gasses Future Queen
We've all been there. (Well, not me because I don't do that.) But sometimes, you feel that bubble percolate and you just have to let it go. So, you cut the cheese. Break wind. Rip one. That's what allegedly happened to President Biden. Unfortunately for the President, he wasn't alone.
According to The Sun, President Joe Biden reportedly broke wind "loudly" while talking with Camilla Parker Bowles at the COP26 summit.
Chatting about climate change in Glasgow, the President let out a long "loud fart." And The New York Post says the Duchess hasn't stopped talking about it. Apparently, she could not ignore the 78 year old's flatus during their conversation at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery.
Also present at the crop dusting were Prince Charles, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
That awkward moment came before Biden was set to deliver remarks on the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and what it will do for Americans.
Snopes.com is saying this story is unproven as the the Duchess has offered no public comments on the matter.
Healthline says this is why we fart:
We fart because of the buildup of gas in our bodies, typically due to:
- Swallowed air: We swallow air throughout the day, including from carbonated beverages or taking in air as we chew.
- An overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine: Several conditions can lead to bacteria overgrowth, including type 2 diabetes, celiac disease, liver disease, and inflammatory bowel disease.
- Carbohydrates that haven’t been fully digested: Sometimes all your food doesn’t get fully digested by the enzymes in the small intestines. When partially digested carbs reach the colon, bacteria convert part of that food into hydrogen and carbon dioxide gasses.
