I'm sure by now you have heard the term net neutrality -- the idea that the Internet is more like a utility (gas and electric) than just a normal service (cable and tv). The FCC voted Thursday to keep the internet free. What does that mean for you, the internet user at large?

The Federal Communications Commission voted 3-2 Thursday to adopt net neutrality rules for an open internet. The FCC's decision makes for regulating internet service providers like public utilities, prohibiting companies from charging for faster lanes on the internet.
