The World Of Winter Festival inspires you to be active in the winter making Grand Rapids an active year-round city. The list of events taking place for January have been posted.

All of the World of Winter events are free, family-friendly and social distanced.

Downtown Grand Rapids will host the Hybycozo's at Ah-Nab-Awen Park. It's a series of large-scale installations and artworks that offer geometric exploration and patterns through light, shadow, and perception. You can see the artworks from January 15 through February 28.

Impulse on Monroe will take place from January 22 until February 28th. "Impulse" features 15 see-saws that light up and make sound when used by people. Downtown Grand Rapids will host Impulse at 555 Monroe Ave NW.

The Singing Tree at Canal Park boasts an interactive light show. You can interact by singing, clapping, or yelling to create an unforgettable and unique experience. Downtown Grand Rapids will host The Singing Tree in partnership at Canal Park.

Winter Tumbleweeds happens from January 15 through February 28. Made out of 5,000 pool noodles, the art features five large tumbleweeds, three small tumbleweeds, four groves and 2 chain anemones. Downtown Grand Rapids will host Winter Tumbleweeds & Grasses with The Department at The Blue Bridge.

600 pound lit icicles will be at the Gillett Bridge from January 29th through February 5th. The 10 giant luminaries scattered about light the area for a bright night. Downtown Grand Rapids will host Ice Luminaries at the Gillett Bridge.

Bundle up and take advantage of Michigan’s cold climate to provide interesting ways to experience and enjoy the season.
