Since Thursday was 9/11, it didn't feel like the right mood to do #Throwback Thursday. So, this is a special edition of #Throwback Friday!

All those people who say TV isn't what it used to be, are plain wrong. Cable and the delivery method might be at risk, but the box with the wires and the screen is doing just fine.

The Griffs have their proverbial backs against the wall tonight. It's Game 3 of the Calder Cup Western Conference Semifinals against the Texas Stars. The Stars lead the series 2-0. The Stars also won the regular season title. But the Griffins beat them 3 out of 4 this regular season.

A new study out today says "cord cutting" is up 44 percent over the last three years, and is becoming more prevalent. What is it? Is it for you?   I have some facts on the subject.

Seeing tonight the big TV event tonight other than the Country Music Awards (I don't know..is it the AMA's, or the CMA's or the BigHat awards--there's so many I can't keep em straight) is Wrestlemania, here's my WM story.

Everyone loves news bloopers! Including me! I love it when Jimmy Kimmel or Conan O'Brien show local news bloopers! I really wish I had more time to scour the web to find these comedic gems!

Yep, it's a fun filled night at the old Russell House last night. Thought I'd sit down and watch some quality TV.

So walking out of the radio station last night to go home, I noticed something across Monroe Ave. It appeared to be a giant 1950's TV set out in front of the Comerica Bank Building. A giant teal colored TV will draw your eyes attention.

So as I was flipping around Thursday night, here's a sample of what I watched. Some ok, some, not really, and some, well you will see.

It's 19 days until Christmas. The over saturation of the holiday is here. Wall to wall TV commercials. The 16 pounds of ad inserts in the Sunday paper. The constant whine of "but it's not THAT expensive! And I have been really good this year!" The Euro is failing overseas. Suh shouldn't have been suspended. Michigan State got robbed in the BCS. It still really hasn't snowed yet, at least

Couldn't have you gone into Sears to watch TV rather than bust into someone's house? The  guy  faces charges of criminal trespass after the homeowner called police.
